**Position Summary**:
The Production Manager is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the efficient and compliant operation of cannabis production. This role involves managing all aspects of cannabis processing and packaging to ensure the timely, accurate, and in-full fulfillment of each purchase order while meeting company quality and safety standards. The Production Manager is tasked with leading a team of production staff, ensuring effective scheduling, tracking attendance, and maintaining accurate production documentation. This individual will be a hands-on leader, solving problems, improving processes, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

**Production management responsibilities (primary)**:

- Maintain a current production schedule relative to active purchase orders to be fulfilled
- Supervise and guide the daily workflow of a team of 10 Production Associates and Production Specialists on the production floor
- Oversee room and equipment cleaning and sanitization
- Ensure that cannabis and non-cannabis items are labeled clearly and accurately prior to transporting to secure storage in the facility
- Complete hardcopy production batch records and enter data to inventory tracking software for completed work orders
- Participate in Operations employee recruitment

**Production responsibilities (secondary)**:

- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to safety guidelines
- Support the production team by carrying out processing and packaging cannabis products according to specifications
- Monitor production processes to identify any issues or defects
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiencies

**Skills**:

- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Experience in consumer packaged good or a similar manufacturing environment with legal cannabis will be considered a plus
- Careful attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills grounded in emotional intelligence

**Working Conditions**:
The Production Manager will work full-time at the Company’s facility. Typical hours are 9am-5pm PT, Monday to Friday.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
