Deli Clerk

Guelph's own Market fresh is currently seeking a Deli Clerk to join our growing business.

We're an independent family run business with a great team of people who love food and community as much as we do. Our butcher shop, bakery, deli, green grocer and kitchen all specialize in sourcing and creating delicious eats and treats that showcase the best of the region and season. We're located in the heart of downtown Guelph. We are looking for a motivated individual with at least 1 year of deli experience in a similar role.

- Must be able to stand, bend, stretch, and lift, and carry heavy materials

**Job responsibilities for Deli Clerk**
- Assist customers with deli selections and share knowledge of products
- Receive product orders and organize items
- Merchandise displays attractively and rotate products per quality and First In First Out (FIFO) standards
- Clean and sanitize workstations thoroughly
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Work Conditions**
- Work is performed in a retail store environment
- Interaction with employees, customers and management
- Lifting, moving, or manipulating objects up to 25 pounds
- Flexible hours including days, afternoons and weekends

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00 per hour
