**Sales Development Representative**

**Opportunity**
**Position/role**:
- Proactively contact prospects and existing clients over the phone (20-50+ calls each day)
- Maintain our CRM to grow your pipeline through effective and proactive customer life cycle management initiatives
- Work closely with the marketing and sales team to consistent the highest level of activity to achieve monthly shared sales quotas and drive to exceed competitive sales activity
- Leveraging the most advanced marketing and sales tools to be consistent and thorough with all your daily activity
- Learn and figure out how to grow to become an expert-level product representative committed to continuous learning and professional development
- Develop career-lasting attributes in the sales professional
**Desired experience**:
- A proven sales closer with clear experience in the Software Industry
- Public city service knowledge is an asset
- Minimum of 5 years of targeted work experience preferably in a business-to-business sales role within communications, and technology.
- Post-secondary education in business or related discipline is a strong asset or equivalent work experience in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment
- Strong technical aptitude to figure things out on your own (keyboarding, MS Office, capacity to learn new systems) with a passion for new technology
- Self-directed with strong organizational and time management skills, attentive to detail
- Dedicated to the provision of exemplary customer service; consistently takes the initiative to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction
- Investigative, demonstrates excellent judgment, driven to succeed, and adept at listening, understanding, and identifying needs-based solutions
- Team-oriented, willing to share knowledge and successful sales techniques with your colleagues to ensure an optimal team performance
**Salary**: Up to $90,000.00 per year
