Each season, 30,000 attendees that include industry professionals, buyers, international and national media, and VIP’s frequent our runways. VFW has built through media presence, garnering national and international coverage on platforms such as CBC, Rogers TV, The Province, The Vancouver Sun, Metro Vancouver, Fairchild TV, VOGUE, Glamour, FLARE, Harper’s Bazaar, ELLE Canada, LOULOU, and Fashion Magazine. Esteemed designers are provided with exposure to the aforementioned media outlets.

**Position Type**:
Full-Time Contract

**Term**: November - April

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Develop strategies that allow VFW to build working collaborations and partnerships with corporate sponsors, industry partners, designers, and other interested parties
- Provide tailored social media and branding services specific to clients and/or designers’ marketing needs
- Execution of any social media business strategies that support overall business and brand goals
- Identify business opportunities through the due diligence of market analytics

**Preferred Experience**:

- Experience in social media and brand development and/or equivalent employment experience (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc)
- Sales and/or marketing experience (in the fashion industry is a plus)
- Experience with event management that included but was not limited to planning, implementing, managing, and promoting
- Experience with art direction

- A strong portfolio of print/digital design, branding, conceptual thinking, web design and digital ads

- Will thrive and be dedicated in pressured situations
- Possess strong work and business ethics; be reliable, highly organized and dependable
- Strong detail-orientation, organizational, and time management skills
- Strategic planning and leadership in social media content creation, campaign management, engagement and social advertising
- Providing expertise in brand discovery, brand management and brand voice
- Establish KPIs and metrics for reporting on results for all digital campaigns, as well as providing recommendations for improvements
- Ensure everything you post is high-quality, consistent, on-brand and beautiful
- Proficiency with Google Office (Mail, Drive, and Calendar)
- BONUS: Experience with Adobe Suite, Mailchimp and Launchmetrics

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
