**One Temporary Full-Time Clinical Project Lead**

**NBRHC - North Bay
The Clinical Project lead will be responsible for planning, facilitating and coordinating the ONE HIS Wave 2 clinical
implementation for NBRHC. The Wave 2 implementation includes computerized provider order entry and clinical
documentation roll out in all ambulatory and outpatient programs. The duration of this assignment will be approximately 16
months, starting in September 2021. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this position’s duties include:
**Key Activities and Responsibilities**:

Participate in all relevant ONE work groups ensuring continuity of best practice throughout the system design

Collaborate with the ONE regional change management lead on future state workflow maps and local gap
analysis.

Document, and track change management tasks related to local gaps in clinical practice

Assist with any clinical training plans needed

Report monthly to Nursing Practice Advisory Committee on clinical project activities

Facilitate the completion of local project plans and milestones

Recommend any necessary policy updates or new policy needs

Work directly with IT department on device needs assessments for the OP/Ambulatory departments.

Identify and recommend process improvements to gain efficiencies and effective system integration

Be a clinical spokesperson for the project, using effective communication strategies and tactics

Act as a resource to the clinical informatics and information systems team when needed for testing

Review and approve all clinical training materials in use for NBRHC clinicians

Assist with staff training roll out plan and facilitation.

**Qualifications: **

A Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare related field required. 
Five to seven years’ experience in a hospital environment, preferably in a clinical or IT role. 
Yellow belt in Lean Health Care preferred 
Relevant project leadership experience, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred 

systems. Preference will be given to previous educators or super users that contributed to the Wave 1
implementation. 

High emotional intelligence with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to
articulate complex issues to a broad audience. 

Evidence of a collaborative leadership style with effective team building skills across interdisciplinary teams. 
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to effectively handle a large number of

issues simultaneously. 

Ability to be flexible in hours worked including possible travel and after hours or weekend work. 
Broad knowledge of health care system design, professional standards, policies and up to date knowledge of

current legislation 

Demonstrated commitment to ensure your safety, the safety of fellow workers, patients, volunteers, and
visitors 

Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
