**WHAT TO EXPECT**:
You have always had a keen interest in the field of logistics and transportation. In addition, managing employees is part of your daily tasks. Soucy Rubber has a position to fill that combines these two interests. Reporting to the general manager, your main mandate will be to manage the logistics team.

Here's an overview of your tasks:

- Plan, organize, direct and control all logistics activities of the subsidiary (transportation, customs, shipping, receiving, inventory, warehousing and material flow)
- Evaluate the manpower needs of the sector and ensure the optimization of the flow of materials required to support the supply of equipment
- Ensure the identification and implementation of mobilizing projects aimed at optimizing and modernizing our logistics activities
- Ensure sound management of our financial resources, particularly with respect to transportation and customs costs
- Ensure the development of the full potential of the team's resources by acting as an inspiring and mobilizing coach
- Standardize, audit, maintain and optimize the processes and work methods of his sector

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:

- Bachelor's degree in operations management, administration, industrial engineering or logistics
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years experience in logistics management or management in a manufacturing environment

Specific Knowledge:

- In-depth knowledge of logistics and warehousing
- Familiarity with various computer systems (MRP, ERP, WMS) and Lean manufacturing and other continuous improvement concepts
