Toronto, Canada Epic Investment Services Full time

Your Responsibilities:
**Talent Acquisition**
- Responsible for the staffing requisitions, job descriptions, and internal & external job postings.
- Coordinate & conducting interviews, coordinate with hiring managers and team leaders to proceed with

the full-cycle recruitment process.
- Responsible for the internal company intranet and external social media for Epic’s HR function.
- Responsible for tracking the in-house resume database for all internal and external resumes received.
- Responsible for the onboarding of all new hires and offboarding of all departing employees and making

all the updates on the HR Payroll tracker.
- Responsible for conducting all background checks for any new employees joining.
- Responsible for coordinating with IT to ensure all onboardings and offboardings of employees are

completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage the full cycle Co-op/Intern program through Universities/Colleges including subsidy programs

associated with this program.
**Human Resources**
- Responsible for the entire new hire onboarding process, inclusive of all company contact lists,

organizational charts, and seating plans.
- Responsible for all folders in the HR database to keep up to date and organized throughout the year.
- Responsible for coordinating with admin for the new hire package and other first day items/requirements

including seating location, welcome bag, etc.
- Assist to create, review and update Employee Handbook and Company policies and ensure regulatory

compliance.
- Responsible for tracking all internal HR perks offered to employees.
- Manage the Health & Safety platform of the company for the corporate team nationally.
- Manage the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (“EDI”) function of the company.
- Assist the team with AODA plan - updating and keeping the company on track.
- Assist the team with organizing the training sessions (internal & external).
- Assist the team with any ongoing projects, policy updates, year-end filings and all other administrative

support as needed.
- Assist with notes on file needed for any employee matters, and any employee letter requests throughout

the year (i.e., employment letters, notices, etc.).
- Complete other ad-hoc projects as assigned.

**Payroll & Benefits**
- Complete all onboarding & offboarding in payroll, benefits, and administration.
- Complete other projects as assigned/ad hoc duties and projects with ADP.
- Run/Create reports in ADP as needed by the team.
- Responsible for all payroll & benefits billings and WSIB filings, saved and tracked in appropriate folders,

and sent to Accounts Payable in a timely manner for processing monthly.
- Assist with representation or participation in different market surveys in the real estate industry.
- Assist in the audit process throughout the year, as needed.

**Requirements**:

- University Degree or equivalent College Diploma in Human Resources
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in Human Resources and Payroll
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and maintain strict confidentiality, high degree of integrity,

discretion, and strong work ethic; able to avoid errors and omissions
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools - specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Working knowledge with ADP Workforce Now will be an added advantage.
- Superior professionalism, courtesy, and friendliness in dealing with people.
- Excellent sense of responsibility and ownership.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, self-motivated individual who is proactive, takes initiative, flexible and

adaptable to changing needs within the organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, works well under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines.
