Electrical Intern/co-op

**TITLE: Electrical Engineering Co-op**

**Position Summary**

This position is for a student currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Technology program and who is eligible for a Co-op starting in January 2025. In this role you will perform a variety of engineering, product design, and testing/verification assignments supporting Product Development initiatives for water/wastewater treatment equipment. Working as part of a cross discipline team in a collaborative environment you will be involved in many aspects of the product lifecycle. Products developed will directly impact water/wastewater quality globally.

**Accountabilities**
- Carry out assignments requiring a basic understanding of related engineering principles and practices
- Involved in product development and existing product enhancement from conceptual design to early lifecycle
- Produce professional electrical schematics for systems and industrial control panels, P&IDs, process flow diagrams and other engineering documentation, build rapid prototypes of product concepts to illustrate design concepts
- As a member of a collaborative team, deliver on project plans
- Participate in testing and field verification

**Qualifications**
- Enrollment in post-secondary education program for Electrical Engineering Technology
- Proficient in using AutoCAD 2D
