**What We Will Ask of You**: As a key member of our Passport team, our Passport Business Analyst plays an important role. On most days you’ll be managing invoices in accordance with PassportONE guidelines.
You’ll be communicating with individuals awaiting services or funds with PassportONE on an ongoing basis while providing information and communication throughout the process. The Passport Business Analyst additionally is involved in fostering community development among agencies and families by providing consultation, advice and orientation to the Passport Program.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Communicates financial related data or information to service users, their families and Canopy’s Passport team as requested
- Assists the Passport team with file management and communications when working with Transfer Payment Recipients, Service Agencies, Brokers and Direct Recipients
- Monitors client budgets and ensures that clients use funds within the Passport guidelines
- Ensures that client information in the database is current and accurate
- Engage in general administrative duties including but not limited to: scanning, applicable signatures as defined by Passport guidelines, uploading files, copying records, organizing files, posting documents to required platforms
**Qualifications**:
- High school or one-year certification in Business or equivalent
- 1+ years’ of Business Administrative or related work experience
- Working knowledge, understanding and experience of MCCSS Passport guidelines is an asset
- Understanding of Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) is an asset
- Developmental Services experience is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail, well organized with an excellent ability to prioritize, multi-task and take initiative
- Ability to maintain positive and professional relationships with parents and other stakeholders
- Compassionate and responsible supporter of people, their families, and community partners
- Commitment to maximize resources and improve people’s quality of life
- A valid driver’s license and insurance, access to a reliable vehicle and ability to drive in various weather conditions

**Salary**: $39,923.61-$50,516.10 per year
