Carpenter/ Interior Renovator

Responsibilities / Duties:

- Be a team player - Work together to achieve a common goal in a timely manner
- Maintain a safe, tidy and respectful worksite & presence
- Perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner
- Ability to accurately follow details and directions explained or provided by supervisors
- Ability to ask questions and learn policies and work procedures
- Have open communication with Supervisors regarding safety, site requirements, note taking, and production
- Daily tasks or duties may include: site set up or clean up, window and door installation, liquid membranes, interior drywall, interior finishings (i.e mouldings, flooring, tiling, etc), exterior/ interior framing, rot repairs, tiling, trim work, exterior cladding, rainscreen, self adhered membranes, concrete work, fascia installation, painting, caulking, etc

Qualifications:

- Carpenter Certificate from a recognized provincial training authority is not required but will be considered an asset
- A vehicle or a reliable methods of transportation to site is mandatory
- must be willing to travel to sites throughout Greater Vancouver
- Previous Carpentry experience, or certifications (ex: First Aid, Boomlift, Fall Protection, etc) an asset
- Able to accurately read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, and understand verbal instructions
- Must be comfortable using power tools and access equipment such as scaffolding or ladders
- Supply own tool pouch with basic hand tools, CSA approved steel toe boots, hard hat, appropriate and safe work attire

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
