What You'll Do

Reporting to the Administrator, the Administrative Supervisor provides support to the Director of Long-Term Care and Senior Services, Administrator, Director of Nursing and the rest of the management team in the effective operation and management of one of the Long-Term Care (LTC) facilities. The Supervisor handles client tours, resident admissions and trust accounts, coordination of accounts receivable and payable, ocupancy and resident data reports, and supervises Visitor Services. The Supervisor may also be assigned to schedule and approve payroll entries in the absence of a department manager.

What We're Looking For
- Three-year post-secondary diploma in Business Administration
- Three years of previous experience in a long-term care/hospital setting

Skills & Abilities
- Previous supervisory experience
- Experience with budget preparation and management
- Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team to achieve and, where possible, exceed their goals
- Ability to write and format moderately complex correspondence, including memos and letters
- Excellent writing skills, including proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Valid Class G Driver’s License
