**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks, including framing, drywall installation, demo, flooring install, painting, trim work
- Direct and supervise the renovation labourer, providing guidance and instruction as needed.
- Collaborate with other skilled trades to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Problem-solve on the job site to address any issues or challenges that arise during the renovation process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are used safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with the Project Manager to report progress, issues, and any additional resource needs.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in carpentry and home renovations, with a well-rounded skill set.
- Ability to perform tasks such as framing, drywall installation, flooring, painting, trim work, and door hanging.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience directing and supervising junior team members or labourers.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Middlesex County and surrounding areas.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety on all job sites.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 44 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Renovation: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)
