**Position**

Shipper - Edmonton, AB

**Key Responsibilities**

The Shipper is a self-motivated individual who will perform an array of duties including order picking and staging and shipping outgoing orders.

**Your Role**
- Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment following Company procedures.
- Load incoming enclosed trailers with various product sizes and complexity
- Perform freight handling utilizing appropriate equipment, including, but not limited to forklift.
- Install protective devices, such as: bracing, padding, or strapping to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
- Transport finished product to staging and/or storage areas.
- Collaborate with other team members.
- Ensure work area is clean and tidy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of grade 12 education preferred.
- 5+ years of direct work experience in loading enclosed trailers, including strong knowledge of warehouse documentation, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Great physical stamina, manual dexterity and physically fit - capable of lifting and carrying 50lbs/20kg.
- Forklift Operation Certification will be considered an asset.
- Able to work individually and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to interpret and act upon complex instructions.

**Available Shifts**
- Day Shift Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
- Night Shift Monday to Thursday 7 PM to 7 AM

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Shipping & receiving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
