**Business Information**: Our resort is located in a picturesque rural community on the shores of the Northumberland Strait in Cumberland County of Nova Scotia. The resort offers guest accommodation, on-site golf, a full-service Spa, sport shooting, and dining.

**Type of Employment: Full-time-Seasonal/ 270-day contract**

**Estimated Start Date: March 22, 2025
- Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables
- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers cheques or room billings
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Describe and advise on wine selection
- Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware
- Perform sensory evaluation of wines
- Serve food and beverages
- Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
- Provide customer service

**Requirements**:

- **Education: No formal education is required**:

- **Experience**: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.
- **Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Overtime required, Standing for extended periods**:

- **Personal suitability: Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Flexibility, Initiative, Organized, Reliability, Team player**:

- **Language: Basic level of English is required**

**Salary: $15.25 hourly, 40.00 hours per week.**

**Important Information**:
**The position requires flexibility in scheduling based on business needs. The work schedule is 6 am - 2:30 pm, 2 pm - 10:30 pm, and 4 pm - 12:30 am. Weekend work and overtime will be required. Please note that we are located in a rural area.**
