**Title**: Marketing Coordinator

**Location**: 10 King Street West, Dundas

**Work Hours**: Full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, occasional evening work.

**Starting**: September 2nd, 2025, or earlier

**Salary**: $30,000-$40,000 commensurate with experience

**About Carnegie Gallery**:

- The Gallery, now in its 45th year, promotes, exhibits, and sells fine art and craft by established and emerging artists principally from the greater Hamilton region.
- The Gallery is a not-for-profit corporation and a registered charity.
- The Gallery financially supports itself by sales from the Gallery Shop and monthly exhibitions, annual membership fees, grants from government departments, donations and fundraising activities.
- The Gallery is managed by a volunteer board of directors.
- Gallery memberships are comprised of 80 current artist members and 200+ supporting members
- The Gallery employs a full-time Gallery Administrator + Curator, Marketing Coordinator and a part -time Administrative Assistant (weekends).

**Duties and responsibilities of the Marketing Coordinator include, but are NOT limited to**:
**1. Marketing + Public relations**
- Preparing content for the Gallery website
- Releases to local media about exhibitions, fundraising events, etc.

**2. E-commerce**
- Uploading product into the Gallery’s new online store
- Managing and developing the online store in consultation with the Gallery’s external website designer
- Shared training of the administrative assistant and select volunteers

**3. Grants**
- Completing and submitting reports to government departments and foundations in connection with grants.

**4. Administrative**
- Occasional typing of formal correspondence to be sent by the board
- Occasional front desk coverage and use of POS

**5. Special Projects**
- To be determined by the board

**We would like to hear from you if you have the following credentials and work experiences**:

- Degree or Diploma in business, marketing, or business administration
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with social media (Facebook, Instagram, Dundas spaces, etc.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word (intermediate), Excel(basic), Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Canva (premium), MailerLite, WordPress, among other software
- Graphic design experience would be an asset
- An interest or background in the arts would be an asset
- Ability to establish priorities and to work independently and collaboratively with staff, committees and volunteers.
