**The role**:
The role of the Chef is to manage a successful kitchen with strong leadership, creativity, excellent communication, new ideas to drive business and coaching fundamental skills to develop future culinary leaders. **This job is about being hands on in all aspects.**

**What You'll Need**:

- 2 to 5 years of hands on experience as a Head Chef
- A Diploma or Degree in Culinary Studies is a definite asset
- Ability to bring creativity and passion to our cuisine
- Effective problem solver, multi-tasker and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Track record of strong leadership in supervising and coaching staff
- Proficient at communicating clearly with managers, kitchen staff and dining staff
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- Able to work in a standing position for up to 5 hours and work 50+ hours per week
- Safely lift, move, and maneuver objects of up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis
- Food Handler Certificate
- First Aid Certificate is preferred
- Health and Safety Level 1 & 2 certifications an asset
