**Job Summary**:
The technologist works with the product design engineers. He/she draws and contributes to the design of products. He/she is responsible for modifications to drawings resulting from changes identified by team members. The technologist has their own fast-paced and specialized design projects. They manage and develop our product design system with SolidWorks working with the EPDM tool. They also support all teams globally (USA, Mexico, Europe) using our EPDM system.

**Responsibilities**:
#Design and modify technical drawings of products.
- ##Design and modify 3D models.
- ##Manage custom product design or improvement projects
- ##Perform validation and mechanical qualification tests in the laboratory on components and products.

#Write test reports.
- ##Design and modify Product Data Sheets.
- ##Communicate directly with suppliers for model and drawing exchanges.
- ##Support the maintenance of the CAD system database withEPDM.

#Create and improve reference documents used in the design of products such as: assembly procedures, test reports, packaging, etc.

**Required Skills and Experience**

#Technical College diploma (DEC) - in Mechanical Engineering or Technical Drawing or Industrial Design or equivalent.##Expertise in SolidWorks##Knowledge of EPDM SolidWorks##Good communication and teamwork skills.##Good sense of initiative and responsibility.##Spoken / written: French and English
