As our **AV Technician **you:

- Perform on-site service calls as required within the client location
- Test integrated systems and calibrate to ensure high efficiency
- Perform service tasks such as greeting customers and perform equipment tests and contact vendors for support
- Field installation of control programs - upload and download capability
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment such as cameras, display screens and monitors, Video Conferencing Equipment etc.
- Manage AV ticketing inbox - Services work orders, project tracking, scheduling.
- Initiate job set up for multiple projects and coordination activities
- Provide status updates of work in progress and support with project forecasting, cost control and Plan Group's T.I.M.E. efficiency program.
- Participate in site meetings and document meeting minutes.
- You have related post-secondary education and 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience procuring and quoting AV equipment
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Project; experience with scheduling software such as Primavera an asset.
- AV Knowledge (able to read CAD drawings)
- Experience with Extron, Poly, Cisco, Biamp, DSP, Digital/Media, Unified Communications and network infrastructure preferred
- Experience with Crestron an asset
- CTS certification an asset

**Other Assets**
- Knowledge and experience installing other technology equipment (Networking, Wifi,etc.) would be a plus.
- Experience dealing with structured cabling would be considered a great asset.
