**In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Product production through blending and batch processes
- Operating equipment safely and in accordance with instructions.
- Performing required tasks in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
- Lifting bags of raw materials (25 kg / 55 lbs max)
- Packaging, loading and unloading of containers, tank trucks
- Forklift operation
- Maintaining cleanliness of related equipment and work areas to ensure adherence to health and safety requirements.
- Minor manufacturing of batch chemicals
- Minor maintenance and preparation of equipment for maintenance
- Participation in the site health, safety, environmental and quality processes and initiatives.

What you’ll bring to the team:

- BC Class 1 driver’s license or a commitment to train and obtain quickly.
- Ideally BC 4th Class Power Engineer certificate of competency is an asset.
- Thorough understanding of product manufacture including taking appropriate measures to correct in-process problems that may be product or equipment related.
- Must be able to use Windows-based computer programs in order to use HMI software and Microsoft Office software (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Fluent in English (oral & written).

Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
