In this role, you will lead the transportation and customs teams. Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving logistics quality and cost improvements and for establishing and maintaining a governance structure within your team. **This position reports to**: Directeur,Operations des ventes **Your responsibilities**: - Lead all inbound & outbound transportation, trade and customs decisions in Canada. - Defining and implementing the National Logistics strategy for areas such as Trade and Transport, Risk Management, Quality and Sustainability. - Defining and implementing initiatives, ensuring the performance targets of various stakeholders (internal and external) are achieved. - Performing Trade and Transportation quality audits within the division and third-party suppliers. Establishing and maintaining regional management reporting related to cost of poor quality, savings, spend and volumes. - Driving cost savings in logistics spend, saving cost via quality improvement initiatives, process standardization and rate negotiations with selected suppliers. - Ensuring all documentation, S&OP and work instructions are updated and followed by direct reports. - Continuously benchmarking peer companies and world-class performers, determining and implementing annual KPIs, aligning targets and monitoring performance. - Managing support requests from other groups and report deviations from compliance guidelines. **Your background**: - At least 8 years proven experience/skills in similar roles, and proven experience in transport, customs and/or logistics. - Demonstrated leadership skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach, as well as proven ability to be a change agent. - Self-confidence, customer focus and the "can do" attitude. - Accomplished analytical and organizational evaluation skills and ability to manage multiple complex projects while maintaining high level of attention to details. - Fluency in English and French is mandatory, written and spoken alike. - Lean SixSigma Yellow Belt will be considered an asset. **Benefits**: - Retirement plan - Accident insurance - Healthcare plan - Wellbeing program **More about us**:
