**About the Role**:
We are looking for a skilled video content creator with strong background in videography, film storytelling, and photography expertise who is strategic about audience growth and passionate about pets. This full-time, in-house role includes managing the video strategy, planning, and execution for all our social media platforms.

Please note: Previous social media experience with a proven YouTube growth strategy is a must. Experience in SEO optimization for YouTube, audience retention strategies, monetization strategies, and YouTube analytics proficiency is needed.

**Who You Are**:
You are a talented and creative video content creator with experience in filming, video production, scriptwriting, brainstorming, and editing. You stay up to date with social media trends and know how to optimize and grow YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram Reels. You’re confident working with video influencers and creating informative product videos that educate pet parents.

You also have strong technical skills, including proficiency in After Effects and Premiere Pro. You know how to streamline workflows using motion graphic templates for titles, animations, and more.

This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while collaborating with our talented social media team to develop best practices for video content.

While the primary focus will be video content for social media and our website, you may also need to support the social media marketing team by creating social media feed posts and engaging with our community by responding to comments and DMs.

**The main responsibilities are**:

- Write scripts, storyboard and all pre-production planning
- Film high-quality videos in local outdoor settings (the shoot will likely be yourself, an actor and a pet) or indoors.
- Travel to locations to film as needed
- Edit projects using Premiere Pro and After Effects and other software as required
- Understand how to use templates for titles, graphics, and animations
- Post finished work on YouTube, TikTok, our website, and other social platforms, and marketplaces as necessary
- Contribute to the strategic creative direction of our YouTube, TikTok channels
- Actively stay on top of social media and content marketing trends, goals and performance indicators
- Find and pursue YouTube influencers
- Create and manage a library of content, including stock photo/ video, b-roll, footage, etc.
- Help the marketing team with other social content, posts, or comments as required

**Qualifications**
- 3+ years of experience creating original video and social media content; producing, scripting, shooting and editing video
- Experience with a portfolio in filmmaking, and knowledge in animation and motion graphics
- Proficiency in Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator
- 3+ year of proven understanding of social media platforms, including but not limited to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
