**Manager In Training (MIT)**:
At the Squamish Adventure Inn we aspire to be the top West Coast destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Centrally located on the waterfront and nestled between the Coastal mountains, we have some of the best climbing, kiting, biking, kayaking, skiing, hiking and mountaineering around. No other North American destination offers this caliber of outdoor adventure in one location

This position is Part Time (15.6 - 30 hours per week) and starting date would be negotiable.

**Duties**
- Covering Supervisor, Front Desk & Housekeeping shifts when needed
- Leading staff and supervising
- Being the first point of contact for any guest issues/emergencies
- Interacting with guests and providing excellent customer service
- Contributing to the overall growth of the hostel
- Reception coverage

**Requirements**:

- Housekeeping/Front Desk experience
- Supervisory experience is an asset
- Prior customer service experience, preferably in the tourism industry
- Excellent communication skills
- A team player, friendly, and personable attitude

**Compensation and Work Schedule**

15.6 of the hours worked cover the cost of your stay at the hostel (calculated weekly). Any additional shifts are paid at $15.75 and you receive an additional bonus at the end of the crew term ($2 per hour worked on the first 15.6 hours per week and then any additional hours on a Supervisor Shift are $3.25p/h).

We believe in having time off to enjoy the beautiful surroundings We also try to keep a consistent work schedule but at times the realities of running a hostel may require additional hours or days with short notice.

There will also be an on-call component of the job which is schedule dependent. Compensation is provided when called or if you have to come in.
