Calling all experienced Credit and Collections Clerks Are you looking for an exciting opportunity with room for career growth?

We are looking for **Bilingual Credit and Collection Clerk** that will be responsible for compiling and maintaining credit information. Contacts customers with past-due accounts and recovers delinquent accounts according to company policy and procedures. You must be able to meet the following requirements: Fluent in French and English, Customer service oriented, strong communication, and organizational skills. Strong work ethic, reliable & dependable.

**Your Role**:

- Monitoring, maintaining, and documenting status on all past due accounts
- Contacting customers and establishing reasons for past due account situation
- Making arrangements for payments to bring account current and following up to make sure all customer discrepancies are resolved
- Maintaining a very detailed collection call log, providing updates and follow up reminders
- Collect overdue accounts over 60 days for all accounts, this includes updating the client file with detailed call results and escalating if required
- Weekly review and reporting of collections metrics to track progress against monthly forecasted goals

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 5 years or more experience in Collections
- French speaker
- Strong legal understanding
- Knowledge of collections procedures
- Ability to work independently
- High energy with strong desire to deliver results
- Positive attitude with a “Can do” mentality
- Ability to respond to potentially tight deadlines
