How your role will add to the story:
We’re looking for a Cyber Security Expert - Red Teamer to join our Global Cyber Security team. This team is responsible for challenging and improving Mercedes-Benz’s overall cybersecurity capabilities by driving Red Team assessments and automated emulation of adversary techniques in strong collaboration with our Blue Team. If you possess cutting-edge Red Teaming skills and are interested to take a look at the blue side of the world, then we want to talk to you.

A day in the life:

- Setup and drive an automated internal testing simulation to spot gaps in our detection solutions.
- Build up and operate a lab for testing purposes incl. global hacking workbench.
- Run and explore new hacking tools and frameworks in our environment.
- Perform end2end Red Team engagements including follow-up activities (e.g. lessons learned, result presentations to management and peers).
- Continuously improve our defensive capabilities, e.g. by running adversary simulations, tabletop exercises.
- Perform testing and analysis of new exploits/PoCs affecting products in our environment.
- Hands-on support our internal Cyber Security Incident Management team in case of high-severity incidents.
- Support evaluation of new Cyber Security Operations solutions.
- Enable and guide new team members.

**Qualifikationen**:
Mercedes-Benz Fan skills, requirements & traits:

- BA/BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or 5+ years of industry experience. (required)
- 2+ years hands-on working experience in Red Team operations and/or network Penetration Testing in an enterprise, military or law enforcement environment. (required)
- In-depth security knowledge on one of the following: Active Directory, Critical Infrastructure, or Cloud Infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with well known Red Team tools like Cobalt Strike, Metasploit, Bloodhound, Mythic etc. (required)
- Proficiency with at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, Bash, Powershell). (required)
- At least one of the following certifications or a similar one will be a plus: - Offensive Security Certifications (e.g. OSCP, OSCE, OSED)
- SANS GDAT, GXPN, GPEN
- Honest and professional, strong team influencer, able to proactively support team culture that fosters knowledge sharing, excellence, and collaboration.
- Able to work under pressure, facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
- Excellent communicator and technical writing skills, able to engage and effectively respond to diverse stakeholders.
- English fluent; German will be a plus.
