We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tile Setter and Carpenter to join our team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Measure, cut, and install various types of tiles (ceramic, porcelain, stone, etc.) for floors, walls, and backsplashes.
- Perform a range of carpentry tasks, including building foundations, installing floor systems, walls, and roofing, fitting trim and doors, and measuring, cutting, and joining wood materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans to ensure accurate installation and construction.
- Repair and restore existing tile work and carpentry structures, including replacing damaged tiles.
- Collaborate with other team members, including project managers and designers, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations, making any necessary adjustments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to safety standards and protocols at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of tile installation techniques, materials, and tools.
- Skilled in surface preparation, including leveling and waterproofing
- Familiarity with Schluter Systems
- Proficiency in general carpentry skills, including framing, trim work, cabinetry, door/window installation, siding and finish carpentry.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong time management, organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols when working with tools and materials.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and equipment.
- Willingness to work in a variety of conditions, both indoor and outdoor.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in tile setting, carpentry, or a related field.
- Experience with custom tile work
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
