**About Us**:
We are a luxury Italian bakery specializing in high-quality pastries, gelato, hot table offerings, and deli selections. Our focus on authenticity and excellence includes producing in-house fresh focaccia and Italian breads daily. As we prepare to elevate our bakery to the next level, we are searching for a dedicated and talented Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Leadership**: Oversee and manage five departments: Pastry, Italian Gelato, Hot Table, Pizza and Deli
- **Quality Assurance**: Maintain the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and consistency.
- **Staff Management**: Create schedules, hire, and train staff to ensure optimal team performance.
- **Menu Development**: Collaborate on designing and perfecting menu offerings, emphasizing authenticity and seasonal ingredients.
- **Inventory Management**: Order ingredients and supplies, manage inventory, and control costs while minimizing waste.
- **Compliance**: Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and food preparation standards.
- **Innovation**: Introduce new ideas while respecting the rich traditions of Italian baking and cuisine.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-end Italian bakery, restaurant, or similar environment.
- Extensive knowledge of Italian pastries, gelato, hot table dishes, and deli items.
- Expertise in crafting fresh focaccia and Italian breads.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work 50-60 hours per week, including weekends if required.
- Commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
