**Job Description Summary**:
Do you have a passion for science and desire to contribute to scientific communications? STEMCELL is looking for a Scientific Communications Associate for its Science News program - an online science communication service that supports scientists globally by increasing accessibility to the latest scientific research and news.
In this role, you will work with a dynamic team to stay on top of the latest scientific advances in various fields of cell biology and share it with the scientific community. You will publish daily website, newsletter, and social media content, and engage with scientific researchers from around the world.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Perform scientific literature searches to find exciting and timely science news, events, jobs, and other relevant content
- Publish curated content on the STEMCELL Science News website, in newsletters, and on social media
- Monitor social media platforms and actively engage with scientific audiences
- Monitor and report on analytics related to key performance indicators
**Knowledge and Qualifications**
- BSc with 0-2 years work, co-op, or volunteer experience in a scientific setting
- Experience with Wordpress, basic HTML, and social media platforms
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
