Reports to: Director of Operations

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and staff to ensure successful event execution.

Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including but not limited to, logistics, timelines, décor, audio-visual needs, and food and beverage service.

Oversee the preparation and service of food and beverages, ensuring quality, presentation and proper health and safety standards are maintained.

Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts and ensure all expenses are within budget limits.

Develop and maintain event menus and coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure proper food preparation and presentation.

Ensure that all event operations comply with local health and safety regulations.

Hire, train and manage event staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.

Collaborate with event clients to understand their specific needs and preferences, and ensure their expectations are met.

Manage event setup and breakdown, ensuring that all equipment is properly set up, stored and maintained.

Attend events to supervise and ensure seamless execution.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, event planning, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in event planning and catering management.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage large teams of event staff.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Knowledge of food and beverage service, health and safety regulations, and event logistics.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, event planning software and other relevant technologies.
