**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
The Communications Specialist will be responsible for supporting the execution of communication activities within the Technology Function including the implementation of communication activities for multiple technology projects. As a key member of the OCM team, you will work closely with OCM Managers and Leads and other key stakeholders, to develop and execute innovative, strategic, and engaging communications materials in support of the Change Management efforts within the Technology team and across the organization.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Build and execute communications plans to drive awareness and understanding, including analyzing audiences, developing key messages and identifying the right channel, frequency and sender.
- Create strategic, compelling materials that supports these plans. Such as, key messages, website content, speaking points and executive briefing documents.
- Publish and manage critical internal channels for the program. Examples: Yammer, SharePoint
- Implement ongoing feedback mechanisms to test the ongoing effectiveness of the communication strategies

**KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES**:

- Minimum of 3 years of communications experience
- Strong communication skills (written and oral) with an exceptional attention to detail
- Able to take concepts and express them concisely and efficiently through digital, social, print and spoken channels.
- Skilled in developing engaging and innovative materials with a strong understanding of how best to deliver tactics across different channels, quickly.
- Strong understanding of Change Management methodologies
- Proficiency with Microsoft O365 (Including SharePoint and Yammer), Adobe Creative Suite and other online platforms such as Vyond, Articulate
- Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with mínimal guidance.
- Able to produce high-quality work under tight timeframes
- Think critically and ask targeted questions to determine needs and respond appropriately
- Think creatively to design communication materials that are engaging
- Learn quickly; demonstrate dependability, professionalism, and innovation
- Knowledge of marketing and public relations principles is an asset
