**THE OPPORTUNITY**
We are looking for dedicated and conscientious **Resident Care Coordinator **to join our friendly team at **Braddan Private Hospital.**
**As a Resident Care Coordinator, you will**:
- Provide an environment to the residents, staff and visitors that is safe, secure, healthy and happy leading to excellence and quality of care
- Provide a high level of leadership supporting care, nursing, dietary, maintenance and housekeeping Staff
- Provide a high level of clinical leadership and support to nursing and care staff
- Facilitate and promote the interdisciplinary approach within the home through the nursing, dietary, recreation, housekeeping and maintenance departments

**Qualifications**:
- Graduate of a recognized school of nursing and currently registered with BCCNM
- Two years nursing experience in Continuing Care Sector (Dementia care and End of Life care would be an advantage)
**Skills and Abilities**:
- Must possess the personal qualities and attitudes that respect and maintain the spirit, dignity and individuality of the residents
- Must have a commitment to excellence in Care of the older person in a Continuing Care environment
- Must be committed and an understanding of working with residents with dementia and end of life journeys
- Shows a caring and considerate attitude to residents, visitors and staff
- Must have proven leadership and team-building skills and be able to motivate staff

Braddan Private Hospital is located in Vancouver’s ocean-side community of Kitsilano. It is a wonderful recently renovated home boasting beautiful views of the mountains and ocean through large windows. Braddan Private Hospital works in collaboration with the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority to offer funded beds but also has private pay rooms available.
