**Inventory Clerk/Quality Assistant**

The Inventory Clerk/Quality Control Assistant is primarily responsible for inventory management, accuracy of shipping and receiving products, and the overall quality of products for TriSon Farms International.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Work with QC and Warehouse staff to track inventory to maintain accurate inventory and stock levels
- Maintain unique specification sheets for individual customers.
- Perform quality and count inspections on all inbound product to ensure it meets TriSon Farms/TriSon Foods standards and specifications for each item. (ex. correct colour, size, condition, weight, and labels).
- Perform quality inspections on all outbound product to ensure it meets individual customer’s standards and specifications. (ex. correct colour, size, condition, weight, and labels)
- Record all quality and count issues found with products and report findings immediately to Procurement Manager.
- Assist in drafting rejection paperwork for product that does not meet TriSon Farms/TriSon Foods quality standards.
- Assist with quality inspection, staging and allocation of work orders.
- Daily quality assurance of packs done by Pack crew (quality, pack specs, labels, origin).
- Conduct daily inspection report of aged product.
- Assist to identify and escalate any pallets that visibly do not meet TriSon Farms/TriSon Foods specifications (crushed, leaning, damaged, etc.).
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OHSA, Food Safety, WSIB, CFIA, USDA, provincial and federal laws.
- Prepare inbound quality control reports for all products on PO’s and enter the data correctly into Excel.
- Prepare quick Q/C reports and escalate any issues to buyers.
- Accurately count and review product in a timely manner.
- Routinely audit and verify the quality of all product on the warehouse floor.
- Conduct other duties as assigned QC, including but not limited to operating forklifts, picking, stacking and cleanup.
- Assist with maintaining a neat and organized warehouse environment.

**Qualifications**
- Highly energetic and assertive.
- Excellent, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience in produce Industry with produce quality knowledge.
- Ability to accurately count and review product in a timely manner

**Working Conditions**
- Varying environmental conditions (ex. Cold, loud)
- Fast pace, high pressure warehouse setting
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Position requires walking, standing, lifting, bending, and crouching on a regular basis
- Occasionally carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
