Title: Inventory Control Clerk Midnights (11pm – 7am)

Reports to: Purchasing & Inventory Control Manager

Based at: Mucci Pac Ltd., Kingsville, ON

Type of Employment: Full-Time, permanent, 6-days a week; and some additional hours depending on workload and business needs.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Organize warehouse inventory and activity to ensure everything is prepared on a timely basis and effectively maintained
  • Cycle count any missing materials and report findings to management
  • Report inventory levels to appropriate parties and updating supervisor/ manager
  • Ability to take an accurate inventory at any time and be held accountable for the information given
  • Having a strong knowledge of all inventory locations
  • Working with Famous software
  • Working closely with various departments to ensure close communication of information
  • Identify obsolete inventory/dump inventory and take care of disposal if approved
  • Having a Fork License would be an asset
  • Maybe asked to perform other duties and responsibilities based on skills and qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of previous inventory related work experience is required

  • Must be proficient in computer use skills (MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Produce and industry knowledge is considered a strong asset

  • Must be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner in English

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Must possess the ability to adapt to any situation and have a sense of urgency where necessary

  • Must be willing to be flexible with schedules based on business needs

Physical Abilities:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs
  • Must be able to lift material regularly up to 14 kg / 30 lbs; and occasionally up to 23 kg / 50lbs
  • Must be able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of time.
  • Must be able to work in a temperature-controlled environment of approximately 13˚C/55 ˚F
