Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals in our kitchen. This is a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality and delicious food. Duties: - Prepare ingredients by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering other necessary items - Assist in cooking meals according to recipes or instructions provided by the head chef - Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely meal preparation - Assist in plating and garnishing dishes for service - Monitor food inventory levels and inform the head chef of any shortages or needs Experience: - Previous experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook or similar role in the food service industry is preferred - Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils used in meal preparation - Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong teamwork and communication skills - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required If you are passionate about food, have a strong work ethic, and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, we would love to hear from you.
