**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Data Entry**: Accurately input parts information, work orders, and invoices into the computer system.

- **Work Orders Management**: Open and close work orders; enter parts into work orders as they leave the parts room.
- **Filing**: Organize and maintain work orders and invoices, ensuring all documents are filed correctly and promptly.
- **Parts Room Maintenance**: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts room to ensure easy access and inventory accuracy.
- **Parts Pricing and Ordering**: Assist in pricing parts, order new inventory as needed, and ensure all parts are stocked adequately.
- **Receiving and Returning Parts**: Manage parts receiving, inspect incoming parts for accuracy and quality, and handle returns of defective or incorrect parts.
- **Inventory Control**: Conduct monthly spot checks of inventory by auditing one shelf each month to maintain accurate inventory records.
- **Customer Service**: Assist customers and internal staff with parts inquiries, orders, and returns, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a parts department, inventory management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data entry and inventory management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of automotive or industrial parts is an asset.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to lift and move parts and materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Standing, walking, and bending frequently throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in various environments, including indoors and parts storage areas.
**Work Environment**:
- The role is primarily based in a parts room and office environment.
- May require occasional outdoor work for parts receiving and inspection.
**Hours Per Day**:
- This position requires working.5 per day in parts and.5 per day as a school bus driver
