**Position Summary**:
The Manager, Change Management provides leadership and change management expertise in support of organization-wide transformation from a people, process, and technology standpoint. This includes providing consultation and advice to HR business partners, senior leaders and change sponsors. The Manager works collaboratively with leaders across HR and CoEs to identify process improvement opportunities and build short
- and long-term project plans for change implementation. They develop and recommend strategies to prepare the organization for change, mitigate any risks, and ensure a smooth assimilation of change within the organization/functional area and the resulting delivery of effective client service throughout Seneca. The Manager fosters a continuous process improvement mindset across the team, leveraging strategies to ensure optimal utilization of all resources and leading a culture of change awareness.

**Responsibilities**:
**Strategic Change Planning and Implementation**
- Provides consultation, guidance and facilitates discussions with HRBPs and senior leaders in identification of change initiatives and process improvement opportunities.
- Identifies, leads and manages change initiatives and projects from a people, process and technology standpoint collaborating with other stakeholders, as appropriate.
- Works with leaders in identifying, designing, developing, and implementing short
- and longer-term change management strategies and plans that are aligned with Seneca's Strategic Plan, HR Business Plan, policies and guidelines ensuring maximization of employee engagement and adoption, and minimizing resistance.
- Identifies and applies best practices in change management; develops an overarching change management methodology, processes, and tools, and leads change management activities.
- Identifies, analyses and prepared risk mitigation plans, and creates actionable deliverables for the change management levers: communication, coaching, training and risk mitigation plans.
- Supports communication plan development and integrates change management activities into the overall project plans.
- Acts as a strategic coach for, HRBPs, leaders and stakeholders, supporting them to fulfil the critical role of a change management sponsor as they help their teams through their transitions.
- Supports project leads and teams to integrate change management activities with their project plans.

**Strategic Change Design**
- Applies human-centered design and systems thinking to understand and improve the end-to-end service experience.
- Collaborates with program sponsors and stakeholders and facilitates discussions to set service vision, principles, values, and success criteria, as well as people and client-centric outcomes.
- Leads service design activities including the creation of service design deliverables such as user research, persona and storyboards, employee and client journey maps, service blueprints, data flow, and process diagrams, and coordinate and run end-user usability tests.
- Designs, develops, implements, and manages change deliverables that will enable impacted users to successfully transition from their current state to a future state.

**Project Management**
- Develops, updates and disseminates project documents and reports to be communicated to stakeholders. Applies project management practices to the work.
- Assesses and measures the success of delivered outcomes and makes iterative changes that are necessary.
- Participates in planning and development meetings and activities relating to assigned projects.

**Continuous Process Improvement**
- Leads the review to evaluate and measure effectiveness of programs and conducts environmental scans to continuously improve and ensure alignment to broader Human Resources (HR) strategies, mandate and values.
- Determines areas of opportunity and develops innovative solutions, recommendations and proposals to project deliverables and outcomes. Employs continuous improvement techniques and methods. Seeks out opportunities to enhance diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Monitors and measures the impact of changes to ensure that plans are aligned with the HR's response to the organization's strategic priorities. Implements effective tracking measures that continue to highlight process gaps and deviations from agreed standards.
