**This opportunity will be based at Air Canada's Montreal Headquarters in Dorval.**

This is a key position within the Revenue Management Branch's Revenue Optimization team to ensure the itineraries and availability displayed across all AC booking channels are optimized. The position is also responsible for the management of Air Canada's revenue integrity suite and other methods and processes aimed towards curtailing availability circumvention.
- **Availability, Itinerary & Revenue Integrity expertise: Act as the resident expert to support the deployment of enhancements to our availability, itinerary building and revenue integrity tools and methods.**
- Acquire strong understanding of Revenue Management, distribution and IT pertaining to the availability calculation and revenue integrity.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business rules & data feeding our Availability, Itinerary Building and Revenue Integrity systems and methods.
- Calibrate AC's itinerary building, availability calculation and revenue integrity systems to ensure they support AC's business strategy.
- Improve and optimize Air Canada's availability by channel.
- Evaluate, test, sign-off and deploy improvements/upgrades to all systems involved in availability calculation, itinerary building and revenue integrity across Revenue Management's systems.
- Develop, produce and maintain rigorous documentation for training and reference.
- Represent Revenue Management at internal and external meetings pertaining to itinerary building, availability calculation and revenue integrity.
- **Support Air Canada's commercial business units: Act as key point of contact for investigation of issues involving multiple commercial teams.**
- In close collaboration with the product distribution and IT branches, lead in depth investigations to identify sell failures and availability circumvention on all channels and design mitigation strategies to reduce their negative impacts on revenue impacts.
- In close collaboration with Revenue Management and E-Commerce contribute to the development of a robust itinerary building rule set to ensure we present our passengers with an optimal set of choices (including AC and its commercial partners) across our direct distribution channels.
- Play a key role in the deployment of large-scale changes to Air Canada's network and availability by adapting our business rules.
- In collaboration with Revenue Management, Sales, Distribution and Call Centers manage the business rules of Air Canada's revenue integrity suite to support our evolving business needs and maximize its positive revenue impact.
- Code and maintain the business rules of our itinerary building, availability calculation and revenue integrity suite.
- **Data analysis and troubleshooting: Proactively analyze data and system outputs to identify issues, support investigations and decision-making.**
- Develop systematic monitoring methods for identified key availability and sell metrics, identifying trends and detecting outliers
- Actively monitor and action KPIs of the availability calculation and revenue integrity processes to identify problems and implement solutions.
- Conduct in depth investigations and data analysis on issues impacting itinerary building, availability calculation and revenue integrity.
- Continuously recommend improvements to different processes and methods in line with AC's business strategy.

**Qualifications**
- University degree with specialization in economics, mathematics, engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with databases & SQL and tools to manipulate large data sets.
- Ability to generate reports and successfully translate and communicate the data into meaningful information to achieve corporate goals
- Proven leadership, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and to prioritize heavy workloads and tight deadlines
- Solid business/commercial orientation and experience as well as an understanding of the airline industry competitive environment
- Experience in airline availability display management is an asset.
- Knowledge of geography and Air Canada's network as well as other airlines' networks also an asset.
- Must be a self-starter and able to work under general direction
- Team player
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel, Powerpoint, Access is an asset)
