**Job Description**:
Reporting directly to the Planning/Reliability General Foreman, the Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for liaising between Engineering, Operations and Maintenance groups to ensure the maximum use of Maintenance resources while minimizing interruptions to Operations and Production. This position will be 4/3 rotation, Monday to Thursday located on mine site.

**Responsibilities**:
Develop weekly maintenance schedule and maintain a 6-week rolling maintenance schedule

Work closely with the Fixed Plant, Electrical and Mobile Planners

Coordinate equipment availability with other departments to create weekly maintenance work schedules

Assist Maintenance General Forepersons and Supervisors to generate short-term and long-term schedules

Enter data and produce reports weekly relating to department performance

Enter asset operational data to ensure accuracy of the preventative maintenance (PM) scheduling system

Lead weekly scheduling meetings with Engineering, Operations and Maintenance to review ready-to-go backlog

Verify resource requirements and availability of equipment before scheduling planned work

Perform other responsibilities as required or assigned

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED

Post-secondary certificate or diploma in administrative studies or business preferred

Minimum of 4-5 years of administration experience, preferably in an industrial workplace.

Knowledge of Maintenance & Reliability terminology and processes.

Effective communication skills (written, oral, listening)

Previous planner experience an asset

Previous project management experience an asset

A high-level of organizational skills, confidence, and decision-making abilities

Ability to perform in a self-directed, fast paced, team environment

A thorough understanding of Maintenance management
