**General Accountability**:
As a key member of the maintenance team the Maintenance Technician will ensure that the day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and servicing equipment used in the facility. Additionally, they will warrant safe plant operations and a safe working environment for all employees.

**Critical Success Factors**:
Installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and upgrading of processing, packaging and material handling equipment in a food processing environment
- Execute approved modifications and additions
- Perform and document all maintenance activities
- Read and understand mechanical and schematic drawings
- Make recommendations and promote best practices
- Support health and safety programs
- Related maintenance experience in an industrial plant
- Knowledge of plant and equipment operations
- Ability to identify, problem solve and research alternatives within the scope of the job
- Good mathematical, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work in a team based environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Additional experience or education and training an asset, i.e. welding, refrigeration, steam ticket

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $32.00 per hour
