Role: Project Coordinator (Full Time)

Experience: 2+ years (in current role)

Education: Post Secondary Education in a related role

Certification: encouraged to work towards Gold Seal

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities of Project Coordinator:

- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Assist with the setup and of start projects including coordination with building departments, government regulatory bodies, engineers, architects, and other consultants
- Assist as required in the preparation and review of all construction cost reports and forecasts looking for early warning signs of potential risk and developing effective plans to overcome/mitigate.
- Participate in various project/site meetings.
- Main point of contact throughout the project for all submittals and coordination duties
- Assist with client billings, approvals and expedite change order approvals

Secondary Functions:
1. Participate in growth and training opportunities for themselves

2. Be actively involved in project, company and local community programs

3. Other Duties as assigned

Key Competencies:

- Provide direction to and resolve problems amongst 30+ subcontractors and vendors.
- Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution.
