**JOB SUMMARY**

Reporting to the Marketing Director, as a Market Analyst you will play a key role in the company's growth strategy. You will conduct in-depth analyses to understand consumer needs and assess the potential of new products. You will collect and analyze data on sales, market trends, and competitors to spot growth opportunities. You will collaborate with salespeople and manufacturing representatives to understand customer needs. You will produce reports and recommendations to guide product development. Finally, you will support the engineering team to align products with market expectations.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Market analysis**
- **Market Research**: Conduct research on current and potential products, analyze customer needs, and assess the market potential of new products.
- **Data research and analysis**: Gather and review data on sales, market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- **Competitor Monitoring**: Track competitors' activities and strategies to provide benchmarks and comparative analysis..
- **Communication and collaboration**: Collaborate with salespeople, manufacturing representatives to understand customer needs, regional specificities.
- **Reports and Recommendations**: Produce reports and presentations to communicate the results of analyses and provide recommendations to engineering, marketing and management teams.
- **Engineering Support**: Assist the engineering team and industrial designers to align product development with market expectations.

**REQUIREMENTS, QUALITIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED**
- College diploma (DEC) or bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent.
- At least three years’ experience in market analysis.
- Excellent command of French and English.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize information.
- Ability to search information and curiosity.
- Autonomy, organizational skills and thoroughness.
- Ability to communicate and popularize information.
- Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office computer tools.
