Business Analyst wealth Tech

**Position**:
We are looking for a highly specialized business analyst in the field of portfolio management and investments. This position requires a deep and strategic understanding of financial markets, investment mechanisms and the complex intricacies of wealth management.

Your role will be to transform expert financial knowledge into innovative technological solutions that address the most sophisticated portfolio and investment management challenges. You will act as SME (Subject Matter Expert) to Product Owners and development teams, while actively participating in product prioritization and strategy with Product Leaders.

**Section 1: Portfolio management expertise**
- Share in-depth market expertise when analyzing needs and defining solutions, particularly for aspects related to portfolio management;
- Evaluate the feasibility of proposed solutions and their potential impact on existing operations;
- Ensure that proposed solutions are in line with product vision and investment strategies;
- Carry out market analyses with a depth that goes far beyond superficial data;
- Contribute to product strategy by integrating expert financial perspectives.

**Section 2: Analysis and documentation**
- Carry out detailed analyses of the needs of portfolio managers and investment advisors, particularly with regard to complex portfolio management functionalities requiring in-depth market expertise;
- Document use cases to support technical teams and stakeholders.

- Work closely with Product Managers (PMs) on agile development teams to translate user requirements into clear requests.

- Identify real needs by interacting with customers, in contexts such as gathering feedback, conducting market research and supporting product demonstrations.

- Ensure that the solutions developed meet the most sophisticated challenges of portfolio and investment management.

**Requirements**:
**Bilingualism required: French and English**
- Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, business intelligence or related field (Master's degree in business administration is an asset);
- Certified Investment Manager (CIM MD)asset;
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) asset;
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) asset
- 7+ years of relevant experience demonstrating in-depth expertise in portfolio and wealth management.

- Advanced understanding of financial products, markets and investment trends;
- Excellent knowledge of financial industry standards, including compliance and security aspects;
- Understanding of agile principles and practices;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, in French and English;
- Ability to design optimal business models and technological solutions;
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Proficiency in agile collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
