The main object and purpose of this position is to analyze and trend the sales, gross profit, expenses and capital expenditures, not only at a regional level but The main object and purpose of this position is to analyze and trend the sales, gross profit and expenses at a regional level. The incumbent should have a background in business and finance in order to assist the regional management and guide sound business decisions, while promoting ALC’s quality and safety objectives.
- Perform financial reporting and tracking key operational metrics.
- **Analyzes and processes data**:Obtains financial data from the Finance department in the form of raw data. Identifies and analyzes the data in order to explain trends, variations and differences. Processes the data in keeping with the management of the region’s needs. Makes pertinent analyses and transforms them into adapted financial results in order to ensure a good understanding of the results. Generates analyses of the OPAs for the region and sub-regions in order to monitor regional trends on sales performances. Works with the sales managers and Administration Manager for audits and to oversee the variable pay program to ensure accuracy of results. Is involved with the various efficiencies programs (C.A.M.P., ALMA, etc) and assists the regional administrative managers with monitoring the efficiencies.
- **Ensures costs and budgets control**: Monitors the general expenses in keeping with budget forecasts. Recommends programs for decreasing expenses. Identifies methods that could be used to increase profitability and submits this information to the individuals concerned so that they can take corrective action.
- **Studies and analyzes profitability projects**: Summarizes and analyzes financial information, cost controls and expenses for assets and provides the assistance needed to ensure profitability. Analyzes GPs on the business and sub-region levels to determine positive or negative trending and submits recommendations to ensure trending follows the objectives of the region.
- **Safety/Quality**:Participates in the promotion of ALC’s safety objectives. Knows and respects all of the procedures that pertain to the supply chain group, as provided in the ALC Quality Manual.

**DIPLOMA**: Bachelor’s degree in administration, marketing or another relevant discipline

**EXPERIENCE**: 2 or more years of relevant experience

**Salary**: From $53,408.00 per year
