We are currently seeking a **Site Superintendent** to join the team. The company is well-established in the construction industry and has been a leader in the field for over 30 years. As a company, we are focused on leadership, encouragement, strength, passion, commitment, and team building.

Superintendents will coordinate and manage all on-site activities, as well work with the project team including; project manager, project coordinators, foreman, subcontractors, suppliers and other office departments to deliver the project(s) on-time and successfully.

**The responsibilities included, but not limited to**:

- Reporting to the Construction Manager
- Review the project plans and specifications and ensure a complete understanding of the building design, schedule, and potential construction problems
- Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, inspectors and vendors to complete each project on time
- Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control standards are met at various stages of the project
- Maintain a written daily log of visitors, job actions performed, materials expended and problems resolved on the job site
- Oversee day-to day field activities
- Maintain a safety job site and ensure all requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and COR are enforced
- Conduct employee orientations and safety meetings

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 10-15 years of construction experience
- Have a post secondary education in Business, Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Requirements**:

- Working at heights
- St. John’s Ambulance Safety Training
- WHIMIS Training
- Current Ontario driver’s license
