Laindale Construction is a full service general contracting and project management company providing services in the retail, restaurant & office construction and renovations.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Site Superintendant role is responsible for leading and coordinating sub-contractors and company personnel to deliver construction projects on schedule, within budget using the resources provided with the utmost attention to detail and quality.

**Prefered applicants will have**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction in a supervisory role
- Preference given to restaurant and/or retail construction experience
- Class G drivers licence
- Ability and availability to travel within the GTA
- Demonstrated ability to lead site level work activities, problem-solving capabilities and ability to manage & meet construction schedule deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Thorough understanding of working with construction drawings and specification books with ability to read, interpret and comminucate with sub-contractors to execute consultants intent
- Enforcing the company's health and safety policies and procedures while maintaining a safe and healthy work site
- Scheduling and coordination of all project vendors and sub-contractors
- Proficiency with the Microsoft office software suite, specifically Excel, Outlook & Word is required
- Completion of daily progress reports along with site photos
- Maintain positive working relationships with consultants and sub-contractors
- Enforce quality control measures and verify all work complies with contract documents, plans and specifications
- Participate in and/or lead site meetings
- Manage and document additional job costs and review with the Project Manager
- Maintain as-built drawings
- Coordinate and execute post-construction deficiency work

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 40 per week
