Sunny Shutter Inc., a leading curtain company located in Scarborough, is currently seeking a competent Purchasing Manager to join our team. The role entails procuring curtain-related accessories, new fabrics, and more, ensuring the delivery of top-quality products and services.

Job Responsibilities:

- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers to ensure a steady and high-quality supply of materials.
- Develop procurement plans and monitor inventory levels to ensure an adequate stock of materials.
- Conduct market research to identify new, high-quality suppliers, assessing their reliability and competitiveness.
- Coordinate with other departments to understand production schedules and sales forecasts, optimizing the procurement process.
- Manage the purchasing budget efficiently and maintain cost control over procurement activities.
- Resolve procurement-related issues and devise appropriate solutions.
- Track the status of order deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materials.

Job Requirements:

- Previous experience in procurement management, with preference given to those with experience in the curtain industry.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively handle supplier relationships.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities to efficiently manage purchasing tasks.
- Team player capable of coordinating with different departments effectively.
- Problem-solving skills and a high sense of responsibility.
- Proficiency in using office software such as Excel and procurement management tools.

**A valid Ontario Driving License is required for this position.**

**Salary**: $35.06-$62.95 per hour
