The Coordinator of the Vegreville Food Bank is responsible for the overarching leadership and operational management of the organization according to the strategic direction set by the Board of Directors. Duties and responsibilities of the position include Organizational Leadership, Governance Support, Daily Operations, Volunteer Management, Financial Management, Marketing and Promotions, Community Partnerships, Risk Management.
**Responsibilities**
- Coordinate food distribution efforts to ensure efficient service to clients.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and organizing food supplies.
- Collaborate with volunteers to facilitate daily operations and training.
- Develop and implement outreach programs to increase community engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of food distribution and client interactions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Vegreville, AB T9C 1M2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
