**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Plan, organize, and lead a variety of recreational activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities, including arts and crafts, games, music, and outings.
- Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation from residents with diverse needs, including those with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Collaborate with care team members to develop activity plans that support residents’ physical, emotional, and social health.
- Assist residents in participating in activities by providing encouragement and support, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
- Coordinate special events and celebrations that promote community engagement and resident satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to understand individual preferences and needs related to activities.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or senior care environments is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage residents of varying cognitive levels and backgrounds.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in enhancing the lives of seniors through meaningful activities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional care.
- Flexibility to adapt activities based on residents’ changing needs and interests.
- Relevant caregiving or activity planning certifications are advantageous but not required. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors by fostering joy, connection, and purpose through thoughtfully curated activities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
