**About the Job**

At Agrocrop Foods, we solve Private Label problems. We are a talented and growing team who is launching a new operation focused on selling RTE packaged goods across the US & Canada. We are looking for shippers who are responsible for the receiving of inbound products and the shipping of all outbound products while following all GMPs and BRC regulations. The Cell lead works in production, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, troubleshooting any equipment errors and reporting them promptly. In this role you have a direct impact on the efficiency of our operation and serve as a key contributor.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Available shifts**:AM: 7:15am - 3:45pm; PM: 3:15pm - 11:45pm.**:

- Ability to guide, troubleshoot, perform, train for set-up, operating, and maintenance of various manufacturing machinery.
- Acting as a liaison between production line employees, direct reports and the manager; communicating issues and opportunities as they arise, actively participating in daily operations meeting and providing best feedback
- Effectively & appropriately communicate challenges or barriers of the role with peers and Managers in timely manner.
- Supporting the Production supervisor with daily and weekly administrative tasks including inventory, scheduling, data input, quality control, root cause analysis for packaging holds, machine breakdowns and Quality requirements.
- Leading small group of employees in terms of performance, growth, training and development, engagement in continuous improvement opportunities within the area of responsibility to help build ongoing operational improvements within the Department.
- Create, Train, Train to create implementation of SOPs, work instruction, OPL and Operator training as needed
- Understanding production KPI's, track, update and help facilitate achievement of production goals.
- Championing and supporting Quality initiatives throughout the department and the organization and also provide feedback for synergy
- Maintain records and documentation and update database accordingly and recommend best practice in a timely manner
- Active Participant in safety committee meeting and diligently adhere to all Health & Safety standards as laid out by HR.
- Maintain accurate records of all Health & Safety related items, including incident reports, inspection reports, training sign-off and employee communication.
- Any task as delegated by Supervisor

**Qualifications**
- 1-3 years’ experience as a Line lead and Machine Operation in a food manufacturing environment.
- Have a technical/mechanical aptitude and like to be hands-on.
- Great communication for working with others on the job.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot potential issues.
- Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to understand mechanics and technical tasks.
- Ability to identify issues or problems in operations or maintenance.
- Ability to stay calm and focused during operation
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Have a high school diploma, GED or higher academic certification
- Work experience with fillers, cappers, and labelers.
- Forklift certification and experience an asset.
- Joint Health and Safety Certification and /or First Aid and CPR Certification

**Working Conditions**
- Ability to perform repetitive, manual material handling without restriction; not limited to the following physical abilities: kneeling, bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and grasping. Visual, detailed & auditory attention is always required with personal interactions with team members. Be able to work in a hot, cold, and noisy environment.
