Requirements & Skills
- Interface & communicate with peers, co-workers, suppliers, customers and management in an positive, respectful, considerate and helpful manner
- Complete all work in a professional manner according to the quality standards required by the customer, supervisor or type of job
- Be available to work additional hours (overtime) according to the workload of the shop and the requirements of the customer or supervisor
- Complete various types of forms, time cards, material lists, requisitions and work orders
- Complete various types of technical & safety training as required by supervisors or management (some of which may require travel)
- Disassemble / reassemble 5hp to 1200hp AC & DC electric motors in shop
- Disassemble / reassemble pumps, gear reducers, & other mechanical equipment in shop
- Motor rewinding experience & knowledge of AC & DC motors
- Complete various mechanical & electrical test procedures on types of electro-mechanical equipment
- Assist other service technicians as need be with repair & overhaul work
- Complete various types of overhaul/repair work in the field (at customer’s site) as required
- Assist with the removal and/or re-installation and assembly of equipment in the field
- Safely use overhead cranes, mechanical pulling equipment, mechanics hand tools, various types of electrical & mechanical test equipment
- Use various type of mechanical measuring equipment ie: micrometers, bore gauges, vernier calipers
- Safely use various types of shop equipment such as steam cleaners, ovens, bearing heaters

**Salary**: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
