Responsibilities:

- Assist veterinarians with examinations, procedures, and surgeries
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and surgical areas
- Collect and record patient history and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Perform laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams
- Take and develop radiographs
- Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments
- Provide compassionate care to animals and their owners

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic veterinary procedures and terminology
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25LBS minimum

**Skills**:

- Laboratory: Experience performing laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams. Familiarity with laboratory equipment and procedures is required.

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
